Provides faith based transitional housing option for 6 single adult males for a duration of 6-18 months.  Residents are expected to contribute to the livelihood and welfare of their home and participate in social, career and personal skill development.

VETS (Veterans Emergency Transitional Shelter)

Short-term case management and transitional housing for veterans.  Accepts men, women, and families for up to 9 months for veterans that qualify.  Informational meeting every Wednesday at 9:00a.m.

Separate shelters for men and women (five to eight week wait). Men housed up to four months, women up to 11 months.  Call to be placed on the wait-list; check-in weekly to be maintained on the list.

Residential treatment for women with children. Referral from Multnomah County required.  35-bed facility for women on probation or parole. Up to 6 months of housing, with supportive programs. VOA Oregon's substance abuse treatment and recovery program.

Salvation Army West Women's

Women/children; domestic violence victims. Transitional housing for women with children that have completed the 60 day emergency shelter program: food/clothing; transportation assistance; health referrals; job search assistance; counseling; parenting skills training; and GED tutoring. Portland Children's Intervention Project serves traumatized children. Call for phone screening/intake.

Emergency Housing Assistance program through vouchers for short-term motel stays, placement in local shelters and direct rent assistance for families with children only. Assistance with utility bills and some cash assistance for necessary items. Short-term case management and bi-lingual information services.

Alcohol/drug free living environment/ shared housing. Each house is democratically ran by members and financially self-supporting. Must have desire to live clean and sober; be able to pay equal share of expenses; and have completed in-patient treatment and a significant period of abstinence. Various locations.
