Will treat animal while there for any medical condition and will spay/neuter at the expense of the owner. Owner must sign over pet ownership to OHS for time period of boarding (for legal reasons), but pet will be returned to owner upon pick- up.

Animal must be referred to OHS by owner's case worker or someone from Dove Lewis or PAW Team or similar organization. Low cost spay/neuter coupons available at www.oregonhumane.com or at OHS lobby. Also have loan program: If approved, owner receives $50 certificate for pet to be spayed/neutered, owner is responsible for remainder of cost and finding a vet to perform surgery. Loan repayment is interest-free.
