Winter Warming Centers

In addition to emegency shelter and day center services during severe weather, the following Winter Warming Centers are open from Nov. 1, 2010 to Mar. 31, 2011.


Family Warming Center: 12505 NE Halseyst Street, Portland just off of the NE 122nd and Halsey.  Dates: seven nights a week throughout winter season Hours: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM, check-in on site.  Serves: Families with children under 18.  If space is available, some single women may be accepted.  Bus 75, 77.

Women's Warming Center:Located at the YWCA on 10th and SW Main.  Single women only.  Check in @ 7:45p.m. at the double doors on Main or go to 475 NW Glisan (Mon.-Fri. Only), between 8:30a.m. and 7:30p.m.  

*Doors checked every 15 minutes.
